Alfonso Rodriguez, Jr. November 19,1980 October 30, 2009 Born in Turlock, CA., he now rejoices in Heaven above. Alfonso fought the fight of his life, against colon cancer. Through his strong faith in the Lord, he never gave up. Alfonso was always a character, before and during his illness. He spent weeks in the hospital, and joked about it daily. Nurses would say, Ill be right back. He would respond, Ill be right here. And, now, hell always be right here, in our hearts. You were an amazing husband. Our love for each other was so wonderful. You were my best friend and I was yours. I will miss you dearly. We shared so many memories together as a family. I thank God for all the time He gave us together. Daddy, youre the best. We love you, miss you, and wish you were here. You will never be forgotten. Son, Brother, our hearts ache at having to let you go. No family was ever more proud, even in the mist of your suffering your faith never faltered. You will always live in our hearts. We will always Love and Miss You. Alfonso worked at Intel, in the Bay area for many years before working for Foster Farms as a Refrigeration Mechanic in Livingston, CA. All the employees enjoyed working with him. He was such a people person. He knew everyone, everywhere and anywhere we went. He is survived by his wife, Cassandra Genevie Rodrguez; his son, Alfonso Rodrguez III; his daughters, Nalani Starr Rodrguez and Kirrah Mercedez Rodrguez; his father, Alfonso Rodrguez, Sr.; his mother, Josephine Rodrguez; his brother, Jaime Rodrguez; his sister, Jessica Rodrguez-Malagn; his nieces and nephews; and Grandmother, Josefina Rivas. Alfonso was loved dearly by friends and family alike. Our world is better for him having been a part of it. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. A memorial service will take place at Turlock Memorial Park on Friday, November 6 visiting hours are from 3:00-7:00 oclock with Rosary beginning at 7:00 oclock in the evening. Sacred Heart Church, in Turlock, will hold a mass for Alfonso on Saturday, November 7 at 8:30 oclock in the morning. The funeral procession will immediately follow the mass. After procession a gathering will be held at the Turlock Moose Lodge, 4713 W. Main St., 95381. A trust fund for his children has been set up at Farmers & Merchants Bank in Hilmar, CA if anyone would like to contribute.
