Estela Esquivel

Estela Esquivel was born on March 7th, 1965, in Juliet, Illinois, to cherished parents Juan and Angelita Esquivel. She was the second of three children and brought endless joy and warmth to those around her with her infectious laugh and radiant smile. Estela’s journey took her to California, where she poured her heart into her faith and dedicated herself to the church and youth group. She loved hosting gatherings at her home for Bible study, always eager to support and help others. As a child, Estela had a special bond with her brothers and looked forward to the family gatherings every Sunday after church at her grandmother's house, where cousins would come together, creating cherished memories. Her early years were also filled with a love for track and cooking, two passions that would continue to shape her life. Estela later participated in the Special Olympics, where she won numerous ribbons and medals, showcasing her incredible athleticism and determination. Throughout high school, Estela’s love for track and field remained strong as she became a dedicated member of the Hilmar Track and Field team. But what truly set Estela apart was her boundless love and compassion for everyone she met. Her heart was especially full when it came to animals, with her dogs being a constant source of joy and companionship. Estela’s love for her nieces and nephews was unwavering—her affection and devotion to them was immeasurable. She also had an unmatched sense of style and beauty. Always a fashion icon, she had a remarkable talent for shopping, often selecting the brightest, most sparkly items that would always look stunning on her. Her carefully coordinated jewelry and outfits were the epitome of elegance. Estela was blessed with lifelong friends who stood by her side through every chapter of her life. Together, they created lasting memories, sharing laughter, love, and countless moments of joy. Estela’s circle of friends was a true reflection of the beautiful, compassionate, and loyal person she was. Her ability to connect with others and offer unwavering support made her friendships one of the most treasured aspects of her life.
