With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, grandma and grams. Judy passed away at home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 76. Judy was born on January 22, 1942 in Spirit Lake, Iowa to Josie and Jasper Laudenslayer. Her family moved to California when she was 3. She attended and graduated from Mountain View School and then attended and graduated from Turlock High School. After graduation, she was employed as a nanny for the Benson family. While working for the Bensons, she met her soulmate and love of her life, Ron. They were married on June 18, 1960 at Mountain View Community Church, where she continued to be an active member until her passing. Judy loved helping and giving to others, it was her lifelong calling. While staying home to raise her two children, she remained active within the community. She was involved in 4-H as a community leader, PTA member, and classroom mother and volunteer, often sharing her knowledge of sewing and cooking. She also volunteered for Salvation Army, United Samaritans and was involved with the Billy Graham Shoebox Ministries, sending love and packages around the world. Judy loved to knit, bake, and garden. Judy’s true passion was spending time with her family. She loved to treat us all with her brownies, haystacks, and famous pizza. Judy loved to knit and tirelessly made countless pairs of slippers for family and booties for new babies. Judy is survived by her husband Ronald Brouhard and her children: Ronda Brouhard-Blount, Kevin Blount, Rodney Brouhard and Melanie Martinez-Brouhard; her grandchildren Ryan & Shavonne Blount, Rachelle & Flavio Mendes, Brandon & Skyler Brouhard, Heather Brouhard, Alyssa Brouhard, James Amato and Marie Brouhard; her great-grands Tayton & Brody Blount, Jenna & Kamryn Dean, Victoria & Olivia Mendes, Aubry, Ben & Liam Brouhard and Eliana Vaughn; and her brother Jon Laudenslayer. She was preceded in death by her sisters Jane Laudenslayer and Joyce LaMunyon. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 19th at 11 am at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, with a burial to follow.
