It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the transition of Maria Esther Perez Franco, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world surrounded by the love of her family whom she loved deeply on May 3, 2025. Born December 3, 1955 and raised in the beautiful town of Jalostotitlán, Jalisco, Mexico, Maria Esther came to the United States at just 18 years old, carrying courage in her heart and a dream of creating a better future for her family. She settled in Stanislaus County, where that dream became both her lifelong mission and her greatest joy. She devoted 18 years to SaveMart Supermarkets, where her warm smile and generous heart left a lasting impression on both customers and coworkers. Yet her greatest joy was found at home, where family always came first. Her children were her proudest achievement, and her grandchildren, the brightest lights in her life. Whether she was showering them with love, cooking her signature sopita, cheering on her eldest grandchild as he sang and played guitar, or simply sharing stories around the table, her presence was a gift- one that brought love to all who knew her. She found endless joy in sharing a cafecito with panecito, especially when surrounded by her beloved brothers and sisters. Sundays were sacred - reserved for church and family. A proud and active member of Saint Jude Parish in Ceres, California, she once taught catechism there while raising her children in the faith. Her deep devotion was the anchor of her life, and she passed that unwavering faith on to her children. She loved shopping trips, traveling, and indulging in life’s little pleasures, especially when it meant enjoying a meal by the beach or getting dressed up with her signature touch of glam and sparkle. She lived with unwavering devotion, offering her heart freely to those she loved and even to strangers, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand. To her nieces and nephews, she was more than family - she was like a second mother, a source of comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love. Maria Esther was united in marriage to Luis Perez at Sacred Heart Church in Turlock, CA in 1981. Together they raised four children, and instilled values like kindness, the importance of family, hard work, and above all, a deep and steady trust in God. She is preceded in death by Demetria Franco (beloved mother), Gela Martinez (sister), Emiliana & Esmeralda (granddaughters) and Jaime Franco (brother). She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Luis Perez; her beloved children, Yessenia Perez Boudy, Emmanuel Perez, Ilse Perez Chavez, and Yasmin Perez; and her cherished grandchildren, Misael Garcia, Luca Chavez, and Ezra Chavez. She also leaves behind her treasured siblings, Raul Franco, Martha Franco, Carlos Franco, Martin Franco, Lilia Franco, Gloria Franco, Maria Franco, Karina Franco, and her loving father, Eriberto Franco. Her family was her world, and her memory will live on in each of their hearts. All who knew and loved her are warmly invited to join in celebrating her beautiful life and lasting legacy. Nacida el 3 de diciembre de 1955 y criada en el hermoso pueblo de Jalostotitlán, Jalisco, México, Maria Esther emigró a los Estados Unidos a la temprana edad de 18 años, llevando consigo valentía en el corazón y el sueño de construir un mejor futuro para su familia. Se estableció en el Condado de Stanislaus, donde ese sueño se convirtió en su misión de vida y su mayor alegría. Dedicó 18 años a SaveMart Supermarkets, donde su cálida sonrisa y su generoso corazón dejaron una huella imborrable en clientes y compañeros por igual. Sin embargo, su mayor felicidad siempre estuvo en el hogar, donde la familia era lo primero. Sus hijos fueron su mayor orgullo, y sus nietos, las luces más brillantes de su vida. Como orgullosa y activa miembro de la Parroquia de San Judas en Ceres, California, en su momento enseñó catecismo mientras criaba a sus hijos en la fe. Su profunda devoción fue el ancla de su vida, y esa fe firme la transmitió con amor a sus hijos. Disfrutaba de las salidas de compras, los viajes, y de los pequeños placeres de la vida - especialmente cuando se trataba de saborear una comida frente al mar o de arreglarse con su toque característico de glamour y brillo. Vivió con una entrega incondicional, brindando su corazón a quienes amaba y también a desconocidos, siempre con una palabra amable o una mano extendida. Para sus sobrinos y sobrinas, era más que una tía - era como una segunda madre, fuente de consuelo, sabiduría y amor incondicional. Maria Esther y Luis Perez unieron sus vidas en matrimonio en la Iglesia del Sagrado Corazón en Turlock, CA, en 1981. Juntos formaron una familia y criaron a cuatro hijos, inculcándoles valores como la bondad, la importancia de la familia, el trabajo duro y, sobre todo, una fe profunda y fe en Dios. Le preceden en la muerte su querida madre Demetria Franco, su hermana Gela Martinez, sus nietas Emiliana & Esmeralda, y su hermano Jamie Franco. Le sobreviven con amor su esposo devoto, Luis Perez; sus queridos hijos, Yessenia Perez Boudy, Emmanuel Perez, Ilse Perez Chavez, y Yasmin Perez; y sus amados nietos, Misael Garcia, Luca Chavez, y Ezra Chavez. También deja atrás a sus adorados hermanos y hermanas, Raul Franco, Martha Franco, Carlos Franco, Martin Franco, Lilia Franco, Gloria Franco, Maria Franco, Karina Franco, y a su querido padre, Eriberto Franco. Su familia fue su mundo, y su recuerdo vivirá para siempre en cada uno de sus corazones.
