Barbara Ann Carroll

September 1, 1948 - February 26, 2022

"On February 26, 2022, Barbara Ann Carroll of Turlock, California, passed away at the age of 73. Barbara was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 1, 1948, to Raymond and Mildred Koogler. She was raised in Lyndhurst, Ohio before moving to Los Angeles in the late 1960s, where she lived for several years before moving to Delhi, Hilmar, and finally settling down in Turlock. Barbara retired from the Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green Insurance Agency in 2014. She enjoyed spending her time reading, researching her family genealogy, shopping with her sister, traveling and camping with John in their motorhome. Barbara was full of life and will be dearly remembered by those who knew her. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, John Carroll; children, Cynthia (Dave) Betschart, Tiffany (Dave) Warbritton, John R. (Chelsea) Carroll III; sister, Beverly (Roberto) Anima; brother, Dave (Tunde) Koogler; 4 cherished grandchildren; several treasured nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends. A Celebration of Life luncheon will take place Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Hilmar Cheese Company, 9001 Lander Ave., Hilmar from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you are able to join us in celebration of Barbara’s life, please RSVP to (650) 296-5191 by Thursday, March 24, 2022 to help ensure that we are able to accommodate everyone attending.
