Jan Nyman Lamb passed away peacefully at home in the care of loved ones and Covenant Care Hospice on March 11 2021. Janet was born in Turlock, CA on June 5, 1942 to Alden and Clara Peterson, a beloved daughter and the first of five children. Jan graduated from Livingston High School in 1960 and soon after went to work for Dr. Gordon Bonander DDS, a Turlock dentist. She worked for Dr. Bonander as a Dental Assistant and Office Manager for 25 years, during which time she also taught in the Dental Assisting Program at MJC from 1968 – 1970. After Dr. Bonander retired, Jan went to work for Precission Dental, selling dental equipment and setting up dental offices. She worked for Precission Dental until her retirement. Jan loved to travel, garden and entertain. She traveled in Europe, Russia, Mexico and South America, as well as all over the USA. Jan loved to plant and grow things. She always had beautiful flowers inside and outside her home and an abundance of vegetables which she generously shared with others. Over the years, Jan entertained family, friends, and associates at lavish dinners and parties. Every detail was perfect and she lovingly prepared all of the food for these events herself.
