Marie Nassayan

Maryam "Marie" Nassayan, age 86, passed away on April 24, 2022 in Turlock, California. Marie was born on June 11, 1935 in Iran. She attended school at Jeanna d’Arc in Tehran. Marie married her husband, Jack Nassayan, in Iran. She was a resident of Tehran, Iran and Yonkers, New York. Marie worked as a seamstress and spent many years as a loving and devoted housewife. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children. Marie loved entertaining people and was a great host to all. She was a member of Saint George Assyrian Church in Turlock. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Nassayan. Marie is survived by her daughter, Linda Nassayan; her son, Essy (Debbie) Nassayan; her grandchildren, Christina and Andrew; and her great-grandchild, Nicolina.
