November 23, 1959 - February 21, 2022
On Thanksgiving Day 1959, Nate and Leona Perry, had something to be extra grateful for, the birth of their beautiful baby girl. Patricia Renee was the perfect gift to finish their already blessed family. She was protected from day one by her three older brothers, Bill, Dale, and Dwight. Renee was born in Encino, California, and spent her childhood years in Reseda in sunny Southern California. Looking for a change of pace, the Perry family moved from Reseda and settled in Turlock, CA. She graduated from Turlock High in 1977. This is where a love story began. She caught the eye of a handsome farm boy named Brian. Their whirlwind romance led them to The Silver Bells Wedding Chapel in Reno, Nevada, on February 11, 1978, along with 3 close family members, where they witnessed Mr. and Mrs. Brian Vieira for the first time. Their intimate wedding was a glimpse into the next 44 amazing years Brian and Renee spent with an abundance of unconditional love for each other. Their love grew even greater with the birth of their daughter, Jennifer Renee, in June of 1978. They called her their Moose and never had any more children, because perfection was already reached. They lived happily in their family farmhouse in Ballico, CA, where so many beautiful memories were made. Renee was also an amazing Auntie to many nieces and nephews. One of her nephews, Jason was more like a son and she loved him like her own. Renee loved raising Jennifer so much that she started working at Crowell Elementary School, where they got to enjoy her for 15 years. Students remember her contagious laugh and a warm hug whenever anyone needed it. She also loved her career at MedicAlert in Turlock for another several years until it was time for her to enjoy the next stage of her life, being promoted to Grammy. When they became grandparents to Maggie and Blake, Jennifer couldn’t ask for a better example of true commitment, love and support for her children. Maggie and Blake spent much of their younger years learning many of life’s lessons alongside their Grammy and Grampy. The memories made will be cherished for the rest of Maggie and Blake’s lives. Renee was loved by everyone blessed to have met her. The impact she made on all she met is what people strive for. Her infectious laugh, love for God and her family will truly be missed. On February 21, 2022, she went home. She left a hole that will never be filled, but those closest to her have peace knowing she was met with the warm embrace of her loving parents and by the grace of God we will see her again.
