Robert C. Doherty

Robert C. Doherty, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 in Turlock, California. Robert was born on May 17, 1948 in Tampa, Florida to John & Coline Doherty. His family moved to California, and Robert grew up in the Stockton area. Robert attended Delta College in Stockton before transferring and graduating from California State University, Stanislaus. He was a resident of Turlock, California after graduating college and remained in Turlock until his passing. Robert worked as a longtime employee of TID as a foreman for the meter department. Robert enjoyed playing the drums, congas, hiking, and camping. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, John & Coline Doherty. Robert is survived by his two sons, Daniel & Patrick Doherty; his brother, Ken Doherty; and his seven grandchildren, Kylee, Liam, Aidan, Kellan, Devin, Kenzlee, & Keegan Doherty. A memorial service is being held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock in the Main Chapel. Following the memorial service, Robert will be inurned at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
