Sonny Colantuono

Sonny Colantuono, a resident of Turlock, passed away at Kaiser Hospital in Modesto on Monday, September 20, 2021. He was 46 years old. Sonny was born in Downey, California, on Tuesday, December 17, 1974, the son of Anthony Colantuono and Georgia Salazar Colantuono. Raised in Turlock, he graduated from Turlock High School, Class of ‘94. He worked in the maintenance department for the housing authority for 17 years. A hardcore Dodgers and Lakers Fan, Sonny loved sports. He enjoyed camping, dancing, cooking, visiting family, and above all else, making memories. He married the love of his life, Crystal M. Saucedo-Colantuono, in a beautiful ceremony in Turlock on June 29, 2002. Along with his loving wife, Sonny is survived by his daughters, Celeste and Chloe Colantuono; his father, Anthony Colantuono; step-mother, Connie Colantuono; his mother, Georgia Colantuono; brothers, Anthony Colantuono Jr. and Eddie Fuentes; and his sister, Jennifer Colantuono. A viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
